The cantilevered top on the La Jolla end table features a weather-resistant faux slate top that offers interesting surface texture and complements the sophisticated taupe-gray tones of the Vintage finish. The protective finish on the wood enhances the look while minimizing the normal maintenance associated with natural teak.
The Vintage finish is designed to
enhance the natural aging process
of the teak, taking it from a light
golden coloration to a sophisticated
taupe-gray patina. At the same time,
the finish offers protection from the
natural elements and UV fading that
is far superior to regular applications
of teak oil. Over time, the wood surfaces
will still lighten to a rich silver-gray
coloration, which is considered the
hallmark tonal quality of legacy
teak furniture.
